Below are a list of some of our providers who supervise practicum/internship students.
Please note that we continue to add new supervisors to our list. All internship and practicum requests must go to the head of the Supervisory Committee, Samantha Quiel (samantha@counselingprofessionalspllc.com). Availability for internships fills up quickly and Samantha has the most up-to-date information for interns. Please do not reach out to individual providers unless you are connected with them by the Supervisory Committee. Below are the steps you will follow in the application process for placement:
Stage 1:
Review our website to learn more about our site and program.
Complete the application (click on the button below). Please mark your preferred location as "Telehealth Only", regardless of your office preference. This ensures that your application goes directly to Samantha.
Meet Samantha for your first interview. At this time, we will get to know about you, you will get to know about us, and we will see if we might be a good fit.
After, you will either receive a rejection email in 24-72 hours or you will be contacted to move to the next step.
Stage 2:
Meet with your potential supervisor.
Meet with a former intern.
If both approve for you to move forward, you will receive an offer letter for placement at Counseling Professionals.

Samantha is the head of our Supervisory Committee and the first person you will meet with in the application process. If you are interested in a placement with Counseling Professionals, please reach out to her to verify availability.
Please note that we currently only accept Clinical Mental Health Counseling and MSW interns. MSW interns are only accepted through our partnership with NC State at this time.
