There are three parties that need to work together to get you as a new provider onboard. You, Us, and Outside Parties...I know the outside parties seem like a bunch of parties, but we we strive to take one step at a time and keep a complex system simple to use. When you onboard with us, we either empower you to work with them through steps, handle it for you, or manage it when necessary. We strive to be as thorough as possible, but as easy as feasible. This balance is not easy, but we are all in it together. The timelines below involve us all. No one party is exempt in all of our success.

Timeline - Simple Answer

Safe Estimate of Total Time from Start to Finish: 14 hours to 22 hours and 35 minutes

Researching Counseling Professionals PLLC - 1 to 2 hours (4 to 8 if comparing other companies)
Applying to Counseling Professionals PLLC - 1 Hour
Interviewing with Office Lead or Staff - 30 minutes to 1 hour
Reviewing Offer - 35 minutes
Accepting Position - 15 minutes
Going through Full Onboarding -10 hours and 55 minutes to 12 hours

- Most providers report it takes a little over 6 hours (but the below hours are CJ's estimate and what should be planned for)

Simple Answer -

Onboarding can be done in a day with us.

We do mean a day as the process is a detailed steps by step process. There are steps before getting to the onboarding and there are some factors that will take some time, but onboardng providers could be up and practicing on the second day after accepting a position with Counseling Professionals PLLC.

Variables That Delay

If providers do not have their license to practice, they will have to wait to onboard
If providers have a provisional license, we will need to have all the supervisor elements set up with a contract signed by them. We do not have control over supervision as we avoid dual relationships.
1. If receiving supervision through Counseling Professionals PLLC, that will go faster.
Missing Elements - Everything in the onboarding takes place in steps, missing data will delay onboarding
Networking - Being able to operate under Counseling Professionals PLLC happens as part of onboarding and happens on completion of onboarding, so next day.
Onboarding starts credentialing, but credentialing does take time based on previous credentialing and license level

Options and Control

We let providers take the process at their own pace.
1. If providers want to do the process in a day, they can
2. If providers want to take their time and do the onboarding in sections, you can, but we they keep it within a month.
  1. Onboarding over 2 months may result in termination of the onboarding.
We are here to support our providers as they join and grow!

Timeline - Detailed Answer

Before Start:

Research Counseling Professionals PLLC - 1 to 2 Hour
Research Other Companies and Options - 3 to 6 Hours

Applying:

Filling Out the Application - 30 minutes
Sending Resume, References, Cover Letter - 15 minutes
Setting Up Time to Meet - 15 minutes

Interviewing:

Zoom Meeting - 30 minutes to 1 hour

Offer:

Once providers get an offer, the offer stands forever as long as they still qualify to practice. We are open to providers joining us when they are ready. Office space may vary over time, but we are happy to have them join the team when they are ready.
Offer Letter - 5 minutes to read
Review Independent Contractor Agreement - 30 minutes (general as more details will be provided before you sign)

Accepting Position:

Fill out form to accept position called Kick Starter - 15 minute
Onboarding starts on Administrative side - 1 business day
Providers will be contacted with their new Email and Giving a link to our Onboarding Hub
