Trauma, and life in general, can be complicated. Some people experience “Big T” trauma, such as abuse, neglect, natural disasters, or other major events. Other times, it’s quieter - what’s often called “little T” trauma. These might include being dismissed by a caregiver, overlooked by a teacher, or repeatedly made to feel like you were not enough. Whether big or small, experiences like these shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Sometimes we know we’re reacting to trauma. Other times, something just feels off or stuck, and we don’t know why.
You might feel disconnected, stuck, overwhelmed, or heavier than you think you should. Whatever brings you to therapy, you do not have to navigate it alone. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity concerns, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with additional tools including
person-centered therapy, a smidge of motivational interviewing, and bilateral stimulation. I aim to create a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences are honored.
