I believe that knowing oneself is an important step in developing a fulfilling life and fulfilling relationships. The story of who we are impacts how we see ourselves, our companions, and our challenges. I enjoy working with adults of all ages experiencing life transitions or learning to manage symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I'm also uniquely qualified to work with LGBTQIA+ folks. I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice.
I've worked with folks who experience anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, learning disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ specific concerns. I enjoy using a combination of modalities in my work. I start with a foundation in a person centered and compassion focused approach and as we get to know each other we'll see what kind of therapy works best for you.
Therapy is a place to identify and strengthen our skills, improve our relationships with ourselves and our community, and discuss thoughts and patterns that may harm us. If you'd like to learn more or set up an appointment please reach out to me for a free consult call.
"I have over 5 years of experience as a clinical social worker. I've worked with families experiencing mental health crises in the community and adults experiencing acute mental health and substance use concerns in an inpatient hospital. For the last 4 years I've worked as a 1-to-1 talk therapist."
